I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
